Can I use these mats with different foods e.g. cooked and uncooked? These flexible chopping mats may be used equally well when preparing cook and uncooked foods. However, to prevent your uncooked foods contaminating your cooked foods we recommend either washing your flexible chopping mat well before preparing each type of food, or purchasing enough flexible chopping mats to allow you to prepare each type of food on separate flexible chopping mats. How do I clean them? We recommend washing them with hot water and a mild dishwashing detergent. Can I wash them in the dishwasher? These flexible chopping mats may be safely washed if placed in the top shelf of the dishwasher. Will the printing or graphics wash off? No. These flexible chopping mats have been developed and manufactured to a very high standard and the printing and graphics will not wash off under normal use. Will the printing or graphics scratch off? Under normal use and circumstances the printing and graphics will not scratch off. However, the printing or graphics may be removed if deeply scratched. Can I take them camping or using outdoors? Yes, of course you may. Because these flexible chopping mats weigh so little, they are ideal for camping, fishing or just about any outdoor recreational activity. Can I dry them in the oven? We do not recommend drying them in an oven. We have tried this method and it resulted in a mat that was bent to the exact shape of the tray it was resting on! Can I have one made to my own design?
